Persian is operated by Ubbe ("we", "us") at persian.sh. By signing in with GitHub you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Persian.

Persian is in open beta. It works, people pay for it, and it also changes often. Section 9 explains what that means for you.

• You need a GitHub account to use Persian. Your GitHub account and its security are your responsibility.
• You must be at least 16 and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
• One person per account. Do not share sign-in access with others.
• If you use Persian on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Persian is a client that reads your GitHub activity and helps you review it. It sits on top of GitHub; it does not replace it. Your repositories, pull requests and issues stay at GitHub and remain subject to GitHub's own terms.

Persian only writes to GitHub when you ask it to: posting a comment, submitting a review, merging a pull request, marking a notification done. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub, Inc.

Do not:

• Script, automate or share accounts to get around the daily AI limits.
• Scrape, copy or resell Persian, or use it to build a competing product.
• Reverse engineer the service or probe it for weaknesses without written permission.
• Use Persian to break GitHub's terms, the law, or someone else's rights.
• Store unlawful or abusive content in notes or comments.

If you break these rules we may throttle, suspend or close your account. We will tell you first where that is practical.

• Every new account gets a 10-day free trial of Pro. No card is required. When the trial ends you need a subscription to keep using Persian.
• Pro costs $15 per month, or $144 per year billed up front. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies to you.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from the billing portal linked in Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We do not refund partial periods, except where the law requires it or where we made a mistake. If something looks wrong on an invoice, email us and we will sort it out.
• If a payment fails we retry it. If it keeps failing we may suspend access until it succeeds.
• If we change prices, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies.
• Teams and Enterprise plans are a waitlist and a conversation, not a product yet. Nothing in these terms promises them.

Persian generates summaries, risk scores, walkthroughs and suggested comments with large language models. They can be wrong, incomplete or confidently misleading. They are aids to your judgment, not a substitute for it. You are responsible for anything you post to GitHub through Persian, whether you wrote it or accepted a suggestion.

Pro includes 50 AI operations per day. When you hit a limit, or when a provider is down or over budget, Persian may switch to a cheaper model, offer a reduced result, or ask you to wait. That is by design and is not a fault in the service.

You own your notes, bookmarks, comments and anything else you write in Persian. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display that content in order to run the service for you, and nothing more. We do not use your content or your repository data to train AI models.

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted.

The Persian software, design, name and logo belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not give you any right to copy it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

• Persian is in open beta. Features may change, move or be removed. We may add limits or change how existing ones work.
• We aim for the service to be up all the time but do not promise it. There is no uptime guarantee or service credit.
• We may change or stop the service. If we shut down a paid plan, we will refund the unused part of anything you have prepaid.

Persian is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or a bad merge you approved based on an AI suggestion. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including any consumer rights you have where you live.

• You can stop using Persian at any time. Cancel your subscription in the billing portal and, if you want your data gone, email us to delete your account.
• We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. If we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of anything you have prepaid.
• Sections on your content, our intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive the end of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For changes that affect your rights or what you pay, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Using Persian after that date means you accept the new terms.
